Piston type check valves are generally used to protect pumps or similar equipment whilst allowing the passage of flow in only one direction and preventing the return of it due to backpressure. The piston check valves are designed with globe valve bodies, producing an increased drop pressure in the pipeline. This design provides a tight seal as well as a fast reaction to the closure impulse.

  • Low fugitive emissions control
  • Body cover union has an adequate design to apply an even load in the gasket so that it can offer a leak proof seal
  • Spring allows these valves to function in vertical lines
  • Seat's stellite coating increases wear resistance caused by abrasion and erosion in the surfaces of the seal during the flow of fluids with solids in suspension
  • Horizontal fluid control
  • Stellite seat ring provides increased resistance to wear abrasion and erosion of the sealing surface
  • Spiral wound gasket
  • Bolted cover connection
  • Standards/Approvals: API 598, API 602, ASME B16.34, NACE MR0175, NACE MR0103
