Eastern Associates across the Southeast get involved in organizations to make a difference.  These are examples of how Eastern Cares in our Communities.

On March 18th local business and community leaders  in LaGrange, GA agreed to be “arrested” for having a “big heart” in the fun, MDA Lock-Up.  This unique community-wide event raises funds for Jerry’s kids.  Paul Thompkins, Western Georgia Regional Manager, volunteered to be “arrested” and went behind bars to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Paul helped to raise more than $47,000 to help Jerry’s Kids.  For more information on the MDA and how you can get involved please visit http://www.mdausa.org/

Our Greenville and Corporate locations raised $205.00 during the month of May for Meals on Wheels.  This money was collected on Blue Jean Fridays by each location’s Eastern Cares Representatives.  For more information on Meals on Wheels please visit http://www.mowaa.org/
