Kip Miller, President and CEO; Garry Freeman, Eastern Cares Financial Consultant; and Floyd Parker, Eastern Cares Director, shared with business owners and leaders in the Christian Business Conference, Camp Rama, Toronto Canada, November 12-14.  The conference was jointly sponsored by Camp Rama and Teleios Ministry of Greenville, SC.

The conference focused on increasing honesty, integrity, and other Biblical values in the workplace as well as the development of a counsel of advisors and accountability groups for business leaders.  Kip Miller shared with the participants the core values of Eastern and discussed Eastern Cares.  Emphasis was given to Eastern’s core values of Integrity and Honesty.  Also, he shared the vision of Eastern emphasizing PVF=People, Values, Faith.  Garry Freeman led a session on living an integrated life.  Floyd Parker led sessions on integrity as it relates to wealth management.  One of the special surprises that came up at the last minute was the opportunity to meet with a group of young adults in a discussion on decision making.

The conference was a great success allowing Eastern Associates to share their knowledge and experiences with others in Canada.  Plans are already being made by the host group for an expanded conference in 2011.
